Here we explore the American fast food chains when you are on a budget and too lazy to cook. We don’t recommend these places as healthy and you should not be eating here every day. Here is the list of top 10 American fast foods chains.

Founded in 1962, by Glen Bell and in almost 10 years this American fast food chain expanded to over 300 locations in the United States and went Public. They sell tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and other Tex-Mex favorites. Recently they have introduced a breakfast menu to keep up revenue wise with the competition.

No 9. Carl’s Jr.

Carl and Margaret Karcher started with a hot dog stand in 1941, later it became a full-fledged drive-in restaurant and now a major American fast food chain. They are know for using unique food items and innovating their burgers. Non-traditional condiments such as pineapple, bacon, onion rings and Philly cheese are used in their burgers which make them stand out from the crowd. With their western style burgers and gourmet restaurant style, six dollars burgers have replaced their hot dogs. Hot dogs are not on their menu.

Its name derives from chipotle, which is a Mexican name for smoked and fried jalapeno chili pepper. It is a first casual American fast food casual dining restaurants. Founded by Steve Ells in 1993 it had 16 locations and now it has more than 2000 locations. “Food with integrity” is their mission with their naturally raised meats and sustainable agricultural practices.

Founded in 1960 now is the world’s largest food chain with operations in 70 counties and 10,000 locations worldwide. They were the first ones to introduce the thirty minutes or it’s free guarantee and real-time order tracking applications. Their pizzas vary by regions around the world and they are constantly bringing innovations to their pizza which keeps them in competition with American fast food chains.

Founded in Columbus, Ohio by Dave Thomas in 1969. Wendy’s is known for its unique take on burgers, for instance, their square patties instead of round ones. The most selling items are the Baconator, the pretzel bun burger and their own line of frozen desserts known as frosty. Mcdonald’s not just catering to burger lovers but also to kids, early birds, coffee house enthusiasts, and even healthy buffs. Diversity helped McDonald’s service and thrive since 1955. It still stands as the King of fast food, an empire with over 35,000 locations worldwide.
